The Fantastic Five

  For the 2nd term, the themes are listed as below:

1. Oriental Surprise

2. Primitivism

3. Ultimate Black

 I have decided to go for the 3rd option, Ultimate Black, as I believe is an interesting theme to look upon. It may be because I have certain characters and design that relates to the black or dark theme so I would like to select this particular idea and create my project with it.

 To get familiar with the theme, here are some ideas and character designs that I have made that will help me understand the subject even more. These characters are redesigned as their first iteration was done many years ago, so this is a fresh take on the redesign process.

 The sub-theme for these characters will be mecha-like form for these characters that are predominantly black or similar dark hue and pocess great powers by the means of forging their limbs into different weapons. And with this, I am planning to create small animations for 4 characters to stick witht the theme and one 3D based work similar to this design as well.
