Portrait photo for About me page.
A professional looking photo was needed to go for the About me page of the website. This is where a normal casual photos will not work as it is not suitable for CV or portfolio websites.
With the help of this video from Youtube, I have learned key points on taking good pictures from my mobile phone.
The first item required was a tripod. Fortunately I had one but it did not have a mobile phone bracket so I used a wooden coaster holder to put my phone in position.
My room has one empty white wall so that was ideal to have a neat background, I turned on more lights for good exposure and also set a timer on my camera so that I have enough time to stand in for a shot.
My first couple of shots were misplaced, I was standing too far from either sides and not in the middle. I was also standing close to the wall which showed shadow forming.
I decided that I had stand closer to the phone in order to get the background I needed. However because I have simple white backgound, I failed to achieve the blur effect entirely. It did not matter much since the aim was to take neat and simple photos. I also tried using 'Portrait Mode' on my phone, I tried taking some pictures but the effect was not working properly.

Good work here on practicing and trying this out
