Advertisement Post

 Advertisement is a way to talk about the product or a service from a particular brand, in animation advertisement is mostly done to show the devices and services a company can provide for starters and professionals to draw and animate. For my particular idea for an advertisement, I will focus on a brand Huion that creates devices that allows you to draw via a stylus.

 Huion as a company has gained a strong recognition for selling quality products for very competitive prices. Artists around the world has praised Huion's offerings to be top level with little comprimises. The company has made many products with wide compaitibility such as for PC, Android and iOS devices.

 For the advert, the product is primarily centered around for being used in drawing. And because in most advertisements show the product in close-up shots, I have decided to think outside the box and use the product as it's own medium to create and advert.

 The program I used is Paint Tool SAI on Windows, firstly, I started by pasting one of my work and made a border around it to create a bezel of the device using line tool.

 Once the bezel was done, then I created the rest of the design of the tablet. Second thing to make was the stylus. I took the reference of the stylus that comes with the latest Kamvas 22, I first created one half of the stylus and then copy-pasted the other side to keep the shape symmetrical. I even made sure to not forget the ring as it is quite dark to notice on the reference image.

 Then lastly I rotated the stylus and finished the lineart with drawing the hand. Again I used a copyright free image as a reference to make sure the hand posture is right. Afterwards the gradient was added in the background, adjusted the drawing size slightly before adding the colours.

 Finally the colouring was added, I used blur tool to soften the shadows to make it less sharp and more realistic. I also added a sheen on the stylus to give it a semi realistic look, and a shadow on the device itselt, which goes nicely with the gradient background.

 

 In conclusion, the advertisement is finished to show simplicity and the power of the user creating the drawing within itself. What I reflect on this task is that I understand more about the brand itself and the fact it suits my progession perfectly. As a future animator, I look into options that would benefit me in the field of drawing and that is exactly what Huion as a brand provides. It is exciting to see what future models they will release I look forward to drawing with them.
